On
Arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The
Stanley has now entered its second centaury by re-adopting its
original character. From the movement you enter through the
revolving doors, you leave the heat and bustle of the modern
Nairobi of a world of cool Victorian elegance. Dinner this
evening is at the Carnivore Restaurant famous for its
Succulent steaks and barbecue and an excellent compliment to a
holiday in Kenya epically as a welcome meal. After
dinner return to the hotel for overnight.

After Breakfast in the hotel you leave Nairobi and travel west
through Kenya's fertile highlands where tea and coffee abound
and suddenly, to your left , the trees part to reveal a
spectacular view of the great rift valley , with dormant
volcano longonnot at center stage. your panoramic journey will
take you past lake Naiveté , with its Crescent Island , to
Lake Nakuru, colored by shimmering flamingo pink from thousand
of beautiful birds lining its shores. You'll arrive at lion
hill lodge . Affording unforgettable views of the lake
from its hillsides preach. The Lodge is also perfect base from
which to explore the lake, with its fabulous array of
birds as well as many types of games , including waterbuck ,
rhino, leopard and buffalo. Lunch in the lodge. Enjoy an
afternoon game drive in the park . A game drive in Nakuru
National park, which is , of course , known for its birdlife,
as thousand of flamingos make this lake their home, among
hundred of other species. But wildlife is also abundance here.
You'll see large numbers of waterbuck , warthog, impala,
buffalo, plains games, cheetah and now rhino , as Lake Nakuru
National Park has been made into one of Kenya's rhino
sanctuary. After a rewarding game drive return to the lodge
for entertainment by traditional dancers ,followed by dinner.

03
|
Early Breakfast
in the lodge. Leaving flamingo friend Lake Nakuru behind, you head
southwards and turn right at Maai Mahui to ascend up over the top
of Mau Escarpment. Then heading due south , you travel towards
Narok, gateway to the Maasai Mara and district headquaters of this
part of Maasailand . You'll travel across the "breadbasket" of
Kenya , covered with acres of wheat and barely , you'll reach your
destination , Sarova Mara Tented lodge , by lunchtime. Located
within the boundaries of Maasai Mara game reserve, this
comfortable luxury camp offers delicious meals and a lunch in the
lodge . Afternoon game drive in this magnificent game reserve .
Maasai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the
south. Game abounds here , particularly when the migration is on
(July- Sept), and millions of wild beast and zebras making their
way back and fourth across the Mara River on their annual trek.
The Mara is also noted for its abundance of lions - particularly
the super black manned males. You'll see lots of elephant here
often in large herds , as well as if you are lucky leopard,
cheetah , and rhino. All of the big five are residents. You're
sure to see African buffalo. Return to the camp in time to refresh
for dinner.

Day 04
|
Enjoy a day of
uninterrupted game drive in this popular reserve renowned for its
variety of plains game such as the wild beast and zebra and its
majestic predators. All meals at the lodge.

Day 05 |
After an early breakfast in the
camp. Depart Maasai Mara and head back to Narok, district
headquaters of this part of Maasailand and then travel across the
vast plains on the floor of the rift valley , keep an eye out for
the herds of giraffe and gazelle and head up the Rift Escarpment
on a road built by Italian Prisoner of war during world war II.
You will arrive in Kenya's bustling capital city in the
early afternoon . Lunch on own arrangements. |
