floors, Caracalla, the hotel's spa and health club, is

The Penguin Club -
It's fun, it's friendly and best of all,
it's free... The Penguin Club at Le Royal Méridien Beach
Resort + Spa has long been a popular feature of the resort
for both guests and club members - as long as they are
between the ages of four and twelve years.
While parents are banned, they can lounge under their palm
trees worry-free, assured the Penguin Club team is
dedicated, professional and certified in all matters of
health and safety.
Not that the kids will notice - they're too busy to care
about the fine print. Open daily from 9.00 am to 1:00 pm and
again form 2:00 pm to 6.00 pm . There is a
constantly-changing focus to entertain and challenge young
minds.
From shell painting to clay modeling, tennis, volleyball
and badminton (mini versions) to banana boats and ‘donut'
rides, life's a beach for children at Le Royal Méridien
Beach Resort + Spa.
As well as an air-conditioned indoor club-house for the
hottest months, there is also a playground plus plenty of
opportunities for beach games, sand-castle competitions and
fun games in the pool.
Throughout the seasons, bonfire parties, discos and festive
parties are another great feature of the club.
For all young guests on arrival at the hotel, a Penguin
folder gives details of the week's menu of activities, and
also contains wet/hot weather distractions such as puzzles,
drawing and colouring books, and more.
While mum and dad may debate between Far Eastern fusion,
American steaks, Italian delicacies or seafood specials, the
kids can opt for chicken nuggets or similar wherever they
are dining and are usually delighted to find out that a new
children's menu has been introduced at all restaurants at Le
Royal Méridien Beach Resort + Spa, It may not be
adventurous, but for the young guests at the hotel it's just
what they want at the end of another strenuous day at the
Penguin Club.
- Beach & Pool Access for Non Residence -
Kick back and relax on the golden sands of
Jumeira beach and enjoy Le Royal Meridien's acres of
tropical gardens; before cooling off in one of the hotel's
three temperature controlled swimming pools.
The extensive gardens are the perfect place to
recline under one of the many palm trees and while away the
hours whilst enjoying service from one of several beach
bars. Younger guests, aged 4 - 12 can also use the
facilities of the supervised kids club - the Penguin Club
with a full activity programme throughout the day from 10am
to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort and Spa Dubai, Pool and Beach

Le Méridien room keys open more than just doors. They open new
perspectives. Featuring commissioned work by select
contemporary artists, these collectible keys also act as
passports to cultural centres near select Le Méridien
hotels.
The Third Line is an art gallery that represents contemporary
Middle Eastern artists locally, regionally and
internationally in Dubai, UAE. The gallery organises
non-profit, alternative programs including Kutub, a
bi-lingual Arab literature appreciation circle, Pecha Kucha
Night Dubai, an interactive forum of presented ideas, and
documentary and feature film screenings.
The Third Line's publishing sector, Works on Paper, publishes
books by associated artists from the region. Books published
include Presence by Emirati photographer Lamya Gargash
(2008), and In Absentia by Palestinian-Kuwaiti Tarek
Al-Ghoussein (2009).

Rooms are invited
to enjoy all the privileges of Le Royal Club Lounge, located
on the mezzanine level of the Club building.
Le Royal Club Lounge is a comfortable place
that is open seven days a week from 5am - 11pm, boasting a
splendid outside terrace overlooking the impressive Le Royal
Méridien gardens and tranquil Arabian Sea. Discreet TV
screens keep guests up to date with the latest news and a
selection of daily papers and magazines are always
available, as is complimentary coffee, tea and tempting
cookies. All of this makes the Club Lounge the ideal
environment to lounge, relax and rejuvenate before an action
packed day out and about in Dubai, or after a hectic
business meeting.
A continental breakfast is served in Le Royal Club Lounge
between 7am - 11.30am daily, offering guests that all
important kick-start to the day. Between 3pm - 5pm guests
can treat themselves to afternoon tea, which includes a
variety of finger sandwiches and cakes, and a selection of
tea or coffee. Finally for a little je nous se qua,
pre-dinner drinks are served between 6:30pm - 8:30pm, where
guests can indulge in traditional pre-dinner favourites to
set the evening mood. Children below 18 year are not
permitted in the Club Lounge after 6:30pm.
Here at Le Royal Club Lounge guests are welcome to use their
laptops and connect to the lounge's high-speed Internet.
- Royal Cut Salon -
The Royal Cut salon at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort and Spa
is a haven of salon splendor, located in the Tower building.
The salon offers a range of indulgent specials and favourites
for ladies and gents alike. Ladies can enjoy an assortment
of services, such as professional hair cutting and styling,
hair treatments including Keratin hair treatment, hair
extensions, blow drying, colouring and highlights,
threading, delightful manicures and pedicures, acrylic nails
and much more.
A range of grooming and salon specials for gentlemen are also
on offer including; hair cutting, colouring and treatments,
manicures and pedicures, shaving and an assortment of other
traditional salon pampering.
The Royal Cut salon is open between 09:15 - 20:45 daily.
