Each of our four exquisitely-appointed suites are decorated amidst an elegant collection of antique furniture. The little luxuries are abundant at Subashri. The Villa also comes with a fully-equipped TV/DVD system to keep the kids entertained.

Our friendly & accommodating resident staff provide a service and cuisine reminiscent of the colonial era and plantation bungalows. Subashri has a resident staff of two (Cook and Butler) to cater to all your needs.
Menus can be planned together with our cook to your liking. Room rates are inclusive of an English Breakfast and local cuisine for dinner (on half board). We recommend the pol rotti, thosai, lamb and pork chops, macaroni pies, pumpkin soup and to finish off your meal with the bread pudding or cream caramel.

Subashri is located overlooking the scenic Victoria Golf & Country Resort. Relax and play golf to your heart's content at this breathtakingly beautiful 6,945-yard golf course. The Villa is located close to the 3rd hole and only walking distance from the Club House. In addition to an excellent golf course, Victoria offers exciting nature trails & bird watching for the nature enthusiast, horse riding, canoeing, & fishing off the pier for the adventure hungry, and croquet & boules non-golfing sports lovers. Now VGCR also offers a pool, a Ayurvedic Spa & flood lit tennis courts.
The closely-located Bambara rock with its ancient caves and temple is also a great hike.
Kandy, a world heritage site, which was the last kingdom in the country to fall, is just a 45-minute drive away. While in Kandy don't miss a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Garden, a must see for everyone.
The Pinnawella elephant orphanage is located one and a half hours away. This is a fabulous opportunity to enjoy watching baby elephants being fed and bathed.
The hill city of Nuwara Eliya is 2 hours away. While in Nuwara Eliya visit the lush tea plantations and a tea factory to see the 'plant to cup' process.
