Merdeka Day Parade
 Malaysia celebrates 46 years of independence or 'Merdeka' on the morning of 31st August with a colourful - grand parade at Putrajaya Boulevard in Putrajaya with the theme of 'Keranamu Malaysia'. Festivities start the night before with an open-air concert at the same venue during the 'Merdeka Eve Celebrations' with popular Malaysia singers & celebrities. Graced by His Majesty the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong (the King), the Merdeka Day Parade is also attended by government leaders & members of the diplomatic corps
