Muscat Half Day Tour -

Your
tour starts with a visit to the Grand Mosque, standing in stately
grandeur. A visit to this beautiful pièce of architecture is a must for
all tourists (open for tourist from 8-11 am except Fridays). From here
you will proceed to the fish and vegetable markets in Muttrah. Feel free
to mingle with the crowd. Visit the Muttrah Souq where you will find a
mix of old and new. Sights, sounds and fragrances are in abundance. You
will then be taken past the Corniche and to the capital area before you
stop in front of the Sultan’s Palace flanked by the Portuguese forts,
Jalali and Mirani. You will then visit Bait Al Zubair Museum for a fine
display of Omani culture and history. End of the tour.

Muscat & Nakhal Full Day :[Reservation]
You will first visit Bait Al Zubair
Museum. Next stop at Al
Alam Palace for a photostop. Travel along the cornice and visit the souq
for some shopping. Next proceed to Al Nadha Resort for a buffet lunch.
Drive towards Nakhl Fort. As you approach Nakhl, keep an eye out for the
fortress that sits on a hillock outside the town. The fort’s origin is
pre-Islamic with major contributions by the Al Ya’ruba and the Al Bu
Sayed dynasties. Visit the fort. Visit the mineral-laden hot springs
water in Nakhl. Later in the evening we return to Muscat Hotel n the
evening.

Wadis & Mountains (Wadi Bani Awf &
Bilad Sait) :

Leave
Muscat and proceed to Nakhl and visit the 17th Cntury Fort. We then
begin our drive towards the stunning Wadi Bani Awf. Enter Wadi Bani Awf
which is renowned as one of the most fantastic tourist locations. Wadi
Bani Awf is by far the most diverse and challenging wadi. Every bend is
a photo opportunity. The wadi jumps into the crystal pools range from
two to six meters into deep waters. Settle for a picnic lunch. After
lunch you will visit Bilad Sayt. Enjoy the Alphine scenery of Bilad Sayt.
Return to Muscat Hotel in the evening.

Coastal Adventure : Wadi Shab – Full Day :
[Reservation]
Leave Muscat at 8.30 am. Travel through
the Coast from Muscat to Quriyat and over the plateau down to the narrow
coastal track. Visit Bimah Sinkhole. Drive to Finns Beach which is known
as the most beautiful beach in Oman. We settle for a Picnic Lunch / BBQ
lunch. Swim and relax a while. We next drive to Wadi Shab. Take a hike
up one of Oman’s scenic wadis. Return to Muscat Hotel in the evening

Desert And Wadi Safari - Wahiba and
Wadi Bani Khalid :[Reservation]
You will board a/c 4wd we travel to Fanjah,
and stop to take photos of an abandoned village. You will travel through
the Sumail Gap that divides the Western and Eastern Hajars. See the
ruins of the old mercantile community of Al Mansfah near Ibra. Head
towards the enchanting Wadi Bani Khalid. Drive past the village with its
endless date plantations. Reach the magnificent Wadi. The pools are
cool, deep and absolutely stunning and the silky water perfect for a
long swim. Picnic lunch among the shades of the trees. From here,
proceed to Wahiba, the undulating golden sands. Indulge in some
thrilling Dune Bashing. Return to Hotel in the evening.

Insight - Nizwa, Bahla & Jabreen :[Reservation]
A journey to the past through the Sumail
Gap that divides the Western and Eastern Hajars and onto the Old Capital
of Oman, Nizwa, famous for its silver souq and a big round fort. After
visiting the souq and the fort, we drive to Falaj Daris Hotel for lunch
or a picnic lunch. After lunch we move to Bahla with the huge loam fort
which is under renovation at present. Bahla is also known as the pottery
capital of Oman. Because of its cultural value, Bahla is placed in the
UNESCO’s list of heritage monuments. Next visit is Jabrin fort, where
you will find one of the most magnificent forts of Oman with its painted
ceiling, dungeons, and hidden passages. Return to Muscat Hotel in the
evening.

Nizwa - Jabel Shams :[Reservation]
You will proceed towards Nizwa and seek
out the Palaces of yesteryear from which sovereign Lords surveyed their
Kingdom of Nizwa. We trav
el via Fanjah where we take a photo stop to
have a glimpse of an ancient and abandoned village. We pass through the
Sumail Gap. At 170 kms, you reach Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. We
visit the big round fort of the Yaruba dynasty. Visit the Souq which is
famous for its silver jewellery. Lunch at Falaj Daris Hotel. After lunch
we begin our drive to the Grand Canyon. You will travel towards Wadi
Ghul where you will find villages and fields of farming. It's a lovely
journey through this rather secluded and remote town. One element found
particularly fascinating is the deserted villages that are in ruins, a
testimony to their age. From here make your way up to the Grand Canyon
of Oman near Jebel Shams, the highest point in Oman. Feel the cool
atmosphere. Our last visit is to the charming old town of Al Hamra, to
walk among the old mud houses, one of which is thought to be 400 years
old. Return to Muscat in the evening.

Relax on the beach under a beach umbrella and a beach chair for a couple
(2 pax). You will served a welcome drink (non alcoholic drink) and
provided with a towel. After enjoying two hours of bright sunshine and
in the beach we return to the Hotel.

Dolphin Watch :

Make a dream come true; step aboard to
explore the hidden treasures of Oman’s magic coastline. 2 hours cruise
will give you a fascinating experience and it’s rare to miss the
swimming dolphins. Your chances of seeing dolphins (usually common,
spinner, bottlenose or Indo-Pacific species) are high at any time of the
year. A dolphin in flight is a wonderful sight that thrills onlookers.

When is the best time of year to see them?
Dolphins generally spotted all year round but for whales, the sightings
are better from Oct to May.
