 The hotel is located at the Jabal Al Akhdhar (Green Mountain),
in the Dakhiliya Region of the Sultanate of Oman at a height of
more than 7,000 feet above the sea level.
The hotel is about 160 Kms from Muscat, the capital city of Oman.
The access road to the Jabal Al Akhdhar is from Birkat-Al Mawz
which is 25 Kms west of Nizwa and 10 Kms east of Izki.
The Jabal Al Akhdhar Hotel is situated in the middle of
villages as well as inhibited areas of Jabal Al Akhdhar which is
the perfect place for exploring some interesting tourist sites in
Jabal Al Akhdhar.
Location
Jabal Al Akhdhar is in the Dakhiliya Region of the
Sultanate of Oman and is the highest Mountain in the Arabian
Penisula; It reaches a height of over 10,000 feet and is noted for
its large Plateau at the 7000 ft. It is famous not only for its
height but also for its pleasant climate and nature. A number of
villages such as Saiq, Sharaija, Wadi bani Habib, Al Ayn, Al Aqar
, Al Manakhar , Hayl Al Yaman, Al Qasha, Salut and Masirat Al
Rawajeh are scattered here and there in the mountain.
Because of the height of the Jabal and for safety reasons - a
Four Wheel Drive vehicle is required for the visit of this tourist
place. The road is open for public now and no more prior
permission is required for travel.
Restaurant
The restaurant is under a coloured glass dome painted with
examples of the local natural life.
It serves a selection of various delicious food from its la carte
menu. BBQ ad Buffet services are also arranged from time to time
plus 24 hour room service.
Accommodation
The hotel has luxuriously designed and furnished suites, double
and single bedrooms for the comfortable stay of our guests.
