BTH or Bharat Tourist Home commenced its operations in the hospitality industry with the Bharat Hotel back in 1964. With Mr. B.Govinda Rao, a reputed name in the traditional catering business of South Indian vegetarian cuisine, at its helm, Bharat Hotel was a name that had come to stay. Classified then as an Economy Udupi Hotel, with a 30-room accommodation facility, 40-seat South Indian vegetarian restaurant and a conference hall, Bharat Hotel quickly evolved into a full-fledged business-class hotel.

The Hotel today attracts business travelers, middle level executives, planters and tourists including North Indians and Foreigners as well, for its comfortable accommodation, finest amenities and services, pure and exotic vegetarian cuisine, world-class business facilities etc.

Bharat Hotel offers a fine dining experience to its customers, with its pure vegetarian delights. There are three types of restaurants within the Hotel. They are:

  • Subhiksha (Air Conditioned)
    Subhiksha brings you a gourmet’s spread of delightful North Indian Vegetarian Cuisine. The restaurant has an aesthetic décor with sophisticated furnishing and soft lighting, complemented with fine classical music that allow customers to enjoy their meal, drink in the surroundings and experience the real taste of life.

  • Kempu-The Coffee Shop
    It's the perfect place for snacks,Fillers or to sip a hot coffee/tea in the wee hours of dawn.

  • The 24 Hour Coffee Shop
    The Coffee Shop at the BTH Lobby is open almost round the clock and is the perfect place to take a quick snack, digest some fillers midway business or sip a frosted drink in the wee hours of dawn.
