in October 1978, Himachal Tourism's Bhagsu Hotel is located near the
residence of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama and the Namgyal Monastery. The
Hotel is named after the famous
temple

Nearest Airport is Gaggal, connected to Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays and
Fridays by Jagson Airlines. Nearest Railhead is at Chakki Bank,
connected to
Delhi
by the Jammu Express and to Kolkata by the Jammu Tawi Express. NH1 and
NH21 link Delhi to Kiratpur via Chandigarh. Drive further to Una, then
via Nehran Pukhar to Kangra. Mcleodganj is 31 kms from here. To get here
from Shimla, Drive to Bilaspur and on to Mandi. Follow NH20 to
Dharamshala Via Joginder Nagar and Palampur.
