The Eco-friendly resort, Jungle Village, at Thekkady is the second one in the chain of resorts of SAJ Group of Hotels and Resorts. Jungle village shares the boundary wall with the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The Wild Erumadams here offer you the magnificent view of the animals inside the forest. • Tree house
  Accommodation is available in ethnic tree homes or erumadams. This type of accommodation is used by the tribal people in the forests, while they go for hunting. Erumadam is really a hut on a tree.

• Mannan Koora
  Mannan Koora or Tribal home is available in Jungle Village. Mannan Kooras are the Traditional Homes of the Mannan Tribes of the Periyar. This hut is made of leaves, bamboo shoot and the flooring is done with mud. Bathrooms inside provides all modern comforts. 

• Cottages 
  Single and Twin Deluxe Cottages are available for accommodation here. All modern facilities are available for the guests' comfort. All cottages has got direct access to the swimming pool.

• Standard room
  Standard rooms are as good as cottage. The interiors are with wooden finish. All modern facilities including Television, bed control panels, hot and cold running water are available.

• Tent 
  This unique accommodation is a specialty of the Jungle Village. A stay in an imported jungle-trekking tents is an experience for life-time. This is truly an exotic experience at the Jungle Village.
