The Manvar Desert Camp is located 7 kms from the resort in the midst of the wilderness surrounded by sand dunes.

The camp is exclusive, consisting of 20 deluxe tents tastefully decorated with attached bathrooms providing running hot and cold water. Meals are provided in the strategically located dining tent, which offers breathtaking views of the sunrise, sunset and the surrounding countryside. Evenings are livened up by campfire, mashaals and local musicians and dancers. The camp is operational from October to Mid April.

Accommodation & Facilities

  • Ensuite bathroom and running hot and cold water.

  • Tents are equipped with two single beds, chairs, luggage table and a fully  furnished bathroom with a shower tray.

  • A ground sheet is provided in all the tents.

  • Ventilation windows are provided for aeration and light.

  • Electric power supply in all tents with genset backup.

  • All meals are prepared hot at the camp site.

Points to be noted by all the guests staying at the TENTED CAMP :

The tented camp is in the middle of the desert & not like a regular hotel. Its for those who enjoy nature and  who want to sleep under a tent with all the basic comforts for a life time experience. / Guests staying in the tented camp are not provided a room at the resort. Only lunch is provide at the resort as the tents are hot in the day time. As such it is advised that guests should normally plan their trip in such a way that they come for a late lunch at Manvar Resort and then go straight for the safari which ends in the camp./ Guests staying at the tented camp are advised  to carry only an overnight change to the camp so as to avoid the problem of transferring the entire luggage .The luggage can be dropped earlier to the camp by the hotel vehicles if reqd. / There is no room service at the tented camp. / No T.V is provided in the tents. / All tents are with attached bath with hot and cold water facility. Tents are not air conditioned. Fans if required are provided on request./ Electricity is provided by a generator. The generator is switched off at 11.30 in the night.
