Manvar Resort is located right in the heart of the Great Indian Thar Desert. It lies between the cities of Jodhpur, Jaisalmer & Bikaner. Its an unprecedented tourist destination offering a rare opportunity to enjoy Rajasthan's desert life, culture, wildlife & beauty.

The Resort provides every comfort the modern traveler could wish for; luxurious accommodation, mouth watering cuisine & an exclusive swimming pool. Built in the style of a traditional desert village, the resort is spread over 5 acres. Constructed using local materials & techniques.

 The resort consists of 21 well designed stone cottages with thatched roofs, thatched roof eateries, open air courtyard sit outs, book & gifts shop, reading room and a swimming pool.

The interiors have been designed as clean and restful spaces. Smooth stucco plaster, patterned mosaic floors, earthy colours combine with customised elements like a woven headboard and bedside lamps, furniture and rugs - all of them being very specific to the desert region of Marwar. The furniture has been custom-designed using traditional furniture components and improvising to create a new set of prototypes for use in a village environment like traditional "khaats" (bed) have been converted into sofas, the bed rests have been made out of coir waves. The artwork in the rooms is also based on local themes to create boutique environment

Points to be noted by all the guests staying at the TENTED CAMP :

The tented camp is in the middle of the desert & not like a regular hotel. Its for those who enjoy nature and  who want to sleep under a tent with all the basic comforts for a life time experience. / Guests staying in the tented camp are not provided a room at the resort. Only lunch is provide at the resort as the tents are hot in the day time. As such it is advised that guests should normally plan their trip in such a way that they come for a late lunch at Manvar Resort and then go straight for the safari which ends in the camp./ Guests staying at the tented camp are advised  to carry only an overnight change to the camp so as to avoid the problem of transferring the entire luggage .The luggage can be dropped earlier to the camp by the hotel vehicles if reqd. / There is no room service at the tented camp. / No T.V is provided in the tents. / All tents are with attached bath with hot and cold water facility. Tents are not air conditioned. Fans if required are provided on request./ Electricity is provided by a generator. The generator is switched off at 11.30 in the night.
