at the Library end of Mussoorie and is located on a ridge. It
commands spectacular view of the Doon Valley and the surrounding hills.
Spread over 4 four acres and set admidst the majestic deodar, cypress and oak
trees with lawns and gardens, it offers complete seclusion and tranquility, yet
you are only a few minutes’ walk from the town centre.
Old World Charm

Estate has a 150 year old history. It was originally built originally by
Lt. Col George Rushbrooke and later brought over by the Maharaja of
Rajpipla. The present management has made special efforts to preserve
the estate's original
character.
Approach
:When coming from
Dehradun, visitors
are advised to come to the Library side at of Mussoorie. It is a five
minutes walk or a minutes drive from the Library Terminus into our private car
parks.

requirements. There are spacious deluxe rooms, luxury suites and a cozy
cottage. The hotel even also has an independent apartment with a
kitchen.

: At Hotel Padmini Nivas, eating is a pleasure. Only fresh vegetables and high quality
ingredients are used. Our restaurant "SURUCHI"
offers the finest vegetarian Gujarati cuisine in town. We
cater to other tastes as well - Punjabi, South Indian, Chinese and
Continental - all vegetarian. (Egg courses are prepared in a

Yoga
WorkshopsHotel Padmini Nivas has a Yoga Centre. Yoga Workshops are regularly conducted at regular intervals by Swati and
Rajiv Chanchani, who have been students of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar since 1975.
They and have been teaching Yoga for more than 20 years. 'Iyengar Yoga' is
taught for all levels - beginner, intermediate and advanced.
Sightseeing &
TrekkingWe can organise arrange sightseeing
around Mussoorie and trekking in the Garhwal Himalayas. Trekking tours are
organised and led by Mr. S.P. Chamoli, an Ex. DIG and a mountaineer of
International repute. He has led expeditions to peaks between 21,000 to 24.500
ft. high and has led the Indo New Zealand Himalayan Traverse. He is also a
Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society of U.K.
