Fort
Cochin is a small town in the southern part of India. For centuries,
it remained the focal point to many a European traveler, Who
eventually made it home. And in years to follow, it gradually acquired
an eclectic mix of varied cultures that blend to form a unique
existence for itself. Today , much of the place continues to exude
this charm . Its tiny allies, European styled villas , quaint cafes
and extensive godowns, all of which merge to create a beautiful
location.
On one of its streets , dotted with numerous ancient buildings, rests
our homestead Rain Tree LODGE. A tribute to the large trees the shade
the vicinity, the PLACE is an 18th century Dutch Home renovated to
cater to the discerning visitor. Every aspect of it preserves the
antiquity and ambience it once housed. And is an ideal place to begin
the discovery of this heritage town.

distance from all major sights. Visit the 600 year old Chinese nets ,
Vasco-Da-Gama church, Jew town , the Synagogue and the Dutch Palace.
