Maharaja Sir Pratap Singh Ji  G.C.B.,  G.C.S.I., G.V.C.O.LL.D. Rao  Raja  Hanut   Singh's  Ratanada Polo   Team  including his  son   Rao Rao Raja Hari  Singh  won the world cup i n   1956 played at  Deauville, France. 

The  hotel is surrounded by   lush green lawns and is adjacent to the family ancestral palatial house where historical personalities. Sir Winston Churchill stayed in  1921 and Pandit   Jawaharlal Nehru and Mrs. Gandhi stayed in 1952.
