The resort is concealed in thick mango grove garden that offers you and
the jungle native animals hang ripe and luscious mangoes of various

In old times when even Corbett Park was not in existence, the spot had
been used by British government as their Governor’s jungle camping and
hunting ground.

The Den is accessible by road and is about 300 Kms. (six hours drive)
from Delhi via Moradabad, Kashipur and Ramnagar. From ramnagar the
Resort is an exciting 29 Kms. drive through dense Sal forest. 11 Kms.
From Dhangari (main entrance of Corbett Park), 90 Kms. from Nainital and
65 Kms. from Ranikhet hill Stations.

Leisure
:
River Beach
Enjoy bathing in fresh water of snow-fed Kosi River. There are various
swimming spots in the river where water is very calm, let us know should
you wish to go the river. The well-trained Resort’s Dogs will be more
than happy to accompany you and will lead your way.
Trekking :
The resort is at the center of various jungle tracks. Enjoy the flora
and fauna of the Jungle at your own pace. Maps are in your room. Should
you wish for the company of any of the Resort’s Dogs or a guide do not
hesitate to let us know. We appreciate if you would let us know if you
are planning to go for trekking. Should you require a hamper, please
contact reception to arrange.
Elephant Safari :
Elephant Safari is the best way to get inside deep forest and look at
the wilds in their natural habitat. There might be a little change in
timings of safari during winters (November – January). Should you wish
to have safari other than the mentioned timings please contact
reception.
Jungle Safari :
We provide open gypsy safaris inside Corbett park and other reserve
forest areas. Enjoy the jungle while feeling comfortable in gypsy.
Cycling :
Enjoy flora and fauna around the resort at your own pace. Cycles could
be hired, route maps are available at reception.
Village visit :
Spoiled by the comfort of the resort? Check out the typical Indian
village life in the middle of the Jungle. Friendly villagers of Kunkhet
village have hundreds of true stories to share about wildlife. You might
get lucky and could be invited to taste some native food of the village.
Guided Bird-Watching tours :
You would be surprised to know out of about 900 species found in India
you can spot more than 480 species in and around the resort. No wonder
the resort is also known as ‘The Bird Paradise’.
Cultural Programme :
Fancy a traditional Folk Dance? Kumauni Folk Dance and other cultural
programmes can be arranged as well.
