Bhairon Vilas (Bikaner)

The foundation stone of Bhairon Vilas was laid in the year 1872. This Haveli was the personal residence of Maharaj Bhairon Singh ji. This property was not only named after it's great builder but because of the statue of god Bhairon installed in the premises. It was found while digging the ground to place the foundation stone it was believed to be an omen of good luck & good fortune.

The Haveli is a landmark building because many distinguished dignitaries have visited Bhairon Vilas. Important amongst them were Lord Themsford, Lord Hardinge, Lord Curzon and all viceroys & governor general of India. This property is ideally situated near the Junagarh fort. All the places worth visiting are at a convenient distance from here.
