A
short 30 minute drive from the Indira Gandhi National Airport,
New Delhi. This palatial resort draw its inspiration from its
magnificient Havelis of Rajasthan. Spread over 12 acres of lush
green landscaping the Heritage Village is an architectural delights
with the main entrance decorated with ornamental frescos and murals. Luxurious accommodation with a blend of Traditional with
Modern in its 82 suites. The rooms have been built in four
double-storied clusters that resemble a Mohalla, an ethnic style of
building groups of houses facing each other with a compound in the
center.
Each of the rooms have been done up in soothing
pastels and the walls are adorned with beautiful miniature
paintings. All rooms are air conditioned with running hot and cold
water; a private balcony or sit out. Every room has a telephone with
direct dialing facility, a colour television, a mini bar and round
the clock room service. Safe deposit and locker facility is
available on request. Fenced with delicate latticework the balconies
provide a delightful view of the verdant surroundings, while the
rooms on the ground floor have a separate sit-out
area.
In the midst of this compound each cluster has a Kadam tree
that is synonymous with the legend related to Lord Krishna, who is
believed to have danced under such a tree with his Gopis (consorts).
A Tulsi plant and Ganesh
statue grace the façade of every room to give the effect of a
traditional home. The rooms have been built artistically drawing
inspiration from Rajasthani architecture.
