At Omasila we Pride ourselves on having the most natural kitchen where we prepare food from hygienic and pesticide free organic vegetables. Which are planted in the hotel backyard. All the Food is prepared by Our master chefs who are Well Honed in art of Cooking.

Facilities : Hotel Omasila remains open through out the year. Omasila fully equiped with the centrally heating system to get ride of the freezing temperature of Ladakh in the winter. Power backup system and also Oxygen facilities in case of altitude sickness if you face, though it's very rarely needed by the people.

Our Hotel is designed keeping in mind the ladakhi cultere , As soon as you enter the Hotel, you will get a feeling of being in typical ladakhi Home with all the modren facilities that you need. The hotel also has a private parking area within the compound. Above all the surrounding area offers optional walks towards the surrounding village to experience the local lifestyle; the walks can be arranged from half an hour to a days walk.

We have 25 standred Rooms and 4 delux rooms and 9 suites to suit every need and budget. Every Room has attached baths fitted with modren sanitary fittngs, hot and cold bath showers and telephone.

All the Rooms are tastefully done in ladakhi architecture with polished wooden floor and are attended by freindly and courteous staff. Besides this, we offer you faclilties like travel, Sight seeing and trekking assistance, Doctor on call, Laundery and Dry cleaning, Cyber Cafe, cable TV, ISD and STD Center.

Organic Food at Omasila

Hotel Omasila, offers sumptuous and hygienic cuisine by personally being involved in the catering, with a choice of traditional, Indian, Chinese or continental.

Our chef Ranjan, who has been with us for the past twenty years, has an experience to cater towards the Domestic and International guests.

We offer organic vegetables, which are plucked from our own garden, which can be viewed from the terrace, Ice-cold stream, which are channeled to irrigate the land and provide sustenance. We also avoid chemical fertilizers, except for local manor, which has been experienced for a long time.

We have an aesthacally decorated Dining hall which serves delicious Indian , Chinses and continentel Cuisine and served from organic vegtables from our own back yard . The hotels dining is traditionally painted and has a large area with a capacity of hosting 50 to 60 guests at a time.
