beautiful and scenic hill-resort of Panchgani.It is about 270 kms away
from Mumbai (Bombay), India and about 100 kms away from Pune, which is
the nearest air and rail head.
Travel time by road is about 6 hours
from Mumbai. One can also travel from Mumbai to Pune by air or train
and then hire a taxi or take a state transport bus to Panchgani.
Alternatively, one can take a direct private a/c video coach from
Mumbai up to Mahableshwar (Rs.230/- per person) and then by taxi to
Panchgani (Rs.180/- for the full taxi).
