1300 m above the sea level at Lakkidi on the beautiful misty mountains of
Wayanad. Rain Country Resorts comprises of four cottages spread over 20 acres of
land situated in a valley between three hills. The numbers of cottages are
restricted in order to preserve the sanctity and serenity of the natural beauty,
thus assuring Solitude and Peace to our valued guests. Resort has two naturally
formed lakes and streams running through the resort. One can submerge in the
beautiful melody played by the nature.
The resort offers cottages, constructed in the
traditional Kerala architecture; we give our guests a choice of cottages with
single room, two rooms and three rooms. Single Room Cottage, for the ultimate
solitude-seeking guests, comes with an open veranda where one can sit and enjoy
the bounty of nature; listen to birds chirping and to occasional animal calls.
Two cottages with two rooms with all modern
amenities are available for our guests. Each cottage comes with two rooms with
an open veranda, dressing area and bathroom without bathtubs. Hot water is
available in these cottages. At Rain Country Resorts one can try Kerala
delicacies specially prepared from hand picked garden fresh vegetables and
seafood. We serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, prepared with hygiene of
the highest order to meet our guests' needs. We also cater Chinese and
Continental menus.

choice of cottages with single room, two rooms and three rooms.
Single Room Cottage: For the
ultimate solitude seeking guests, comes with an open veranda where one can sit
and enjoy the bounty of nature, listen to birds chirping and to occasional
animal calls. Fall asleep to the soothing lullaby of the streams trickling
through the resort. This luxurious cottage is equipped with modern facilities
yet not compromising on Kerala heritage and architectural beauty. Single room
cottage has a separate dressing area and bathroom with bath tub. Hot water
facility is available. Ideal cottage for honeymooners.
Two Room Cottages: Two cottages with
two rooms with all modern amenities are available for our guests. Each cottage
comes with two rooms with an open veranda, dressing area and bath room with out
bath tubs. Hot water is available in these cottages. Wake up to a misty morning
sunshine overlooking the lake within the resort. These cottages can accommodate
eight guests. (Two per room.)
Three Room Cottage: This cottage overlooks
naturally formed lake in the resort. This can accommodate six people (Two per
room). Equipped with all modern luxurious facilities with separate balcony and
open bathrooms with bath tubs ensures that one has all the luxury required and
yet close to the nature. Hot water is available to all the rooms.

The resort specializes in authentic, mouth watering Kerala Cuisine. Try out
