Places Of Interest :
Thorapalli Village – this small picturesque village is
around 6 kms from Hosur. It is here that the first Governor General of
independent India, Rajaji was born.
Hill Temple - this temple’s presiding deity is Thiru
Chandirachoodeshwarar (a name of Lord Shiva). The panoramic view from
this hill is enchanting.
Hogenakal Falls – another attraction in Hosur is
Hogenekkal Falls, located across river Cauvery. The 150 kms drive from
Bengaluru via Chandapuram, Anekal, Thally, Denkanikottai, Anchetty is a
novel experience, as the drive covers many reserved forest areas en
route.
Thally - famously referred to as ‘Little England’ for
its Mediterranean climate, this charming village is 25 kms away from
Hosur.
