In modern Egyptian, it can be equated to being knighted in Britain with the honorific ‘Sir’ or ‘Lord’. Staying true to its etymology, Pasha traces its origins in and around Turkey, presenting the best of Turkish cuisine, evolved over the centuries in the kitchens of Pashas. Experience these Turkish delights firsthand – having been painstakingly selected and crafted by our Chef with years of experience in the Middle East. As a true connoisseur of delicious food, Pasha does not restrict itself to only Turkish cuisine, but eagerly brings to you other cuisines. Over the years the Kolkatans have developed their very own taste for the Mughlai—“The Kolkata Mughlai”, the food that accompanied Nawab Wajid Ali Shah from Oudh to Kolkata. Accommodation The rooms have been designed to provide the utmost comfort and convenience. All fabrics are of the highest quality, wooden flooring has been used in luxury rooms, junior suites and suites, wall paintings have been handpicked by one of the directors – the effect is definitely one of unpretentious but extremely serene elegance. Bathrooms offer practical comfort and traditional elegance: all amenities are provided complimentary for your convenience – soap, shampoo, moisturiser, comb, shower cap, dental kits and shaving kits.
