Ten, which has just five rooms, enjoys a wonderfully quiet location opposite a grassy green park in the classy suburb of Sunder Nagar. It seems to be particularly popular with people staying in the Indian capital for more than just a couple of days. This pretty, no-hype property is fronted by a captivating little garden area. When you step into the lobby you'll be greeted with an extraordinary collection of ornaments, from an old brass gramophone to antique wooden furniture. Ten's rooms could not really be described as spectacular, but they're certainly immensely comfortable, each with a writing desk, table and chairs. One of the double rooms opens onto an inner open-air courtyard. This courtyard, which is shared with another (single) room, is very relaxing and even comes with its very own rocking chair. All of Ten's rooms are average-sized and some exhibit stunning antique fittings, such as in room 104, which has dramatic carved wooden bed-heads.
