At House # 29 of Sultanpur Estate: Expect
an elegant, rambling mansion with an old world charm, green environs and
personal service in an intimate atmosphere. The Estate Bed and Breakfast
is located in its annexe, across its lawn, both welcoming yet private.
The Estate has six rooms in the annexe with private balconies facing the
lawn including a family suite. We also have a lounge, dining room and a
sunny, terrace garden to soak it all in.
The Estate offers a unique
opportunity to experience the gracious hospitality of an Indian home and
retreat into its quiet luxury in the bustling metropolis of Delhi. A
private oasis, located close by to lively market squares ensconcing
theatres, restaurants, shops, pubs and several shopping malls. You will
also get a chance to explore the rustic charm of the bordering Sultanpur
Village. The Estate is the residence
you would love to have in New Delhi: calm, with tastefully done
interiors and a warm and welcoming ambience that gives you an immediate
sense of homecoming.
The rooms are named after the trees and
flowers found within the premises. Kachnar next to the lounge and dining
area on the ground floor has a king-size bed. Nargis on the first floor
too has a king-size bed. Within the Guldavari Suite on the first floor,
are Champa and Chameli. Champa has twin beds and Chameli has a king-size
double bed. On the second floor, adjoining the terrace garden is
Raat-Ki-Raani with twin beds, above which is Amaltaas.
A home is
only complete with home-made food. The breakfasts are
wholesome: choice of cereals, fresh juice, fresh fruits, a variety of
breads with conserves, a selection of cold-cuts, cheeses and eggs of
choice. On requests and on weekends Indian preparations are served as
well. Lunches and Dinners are home-style Indian cuisine. Orders for
these should be placed in advance.
We are a
multi-cultural family and celebrate all major North-Indian
Festivals in a traditional way. We would love to have you join us in the
festivities if you so desire. Your stay here would give you a rare
opportunity to experience the Indian way of life in a laidback and
relaxed manner.
