As an accredited PADI 5-star dive centre uniquely located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, when you dive with the Atlantis Dive Centre you are guaranteed a remarkable adventure - whether this is your 1st or 1000th dive.

Certified divers can join us and enjoy a range of dives including man-made reefs, shipwrecks off the coast of Dubai, and our dive trips to the magnificent Musandam.

For those non-divers, how about trying out our one-off experience will guide you through the basics of diving alongside one of our highly trained instructors.

Children over 8 also have the chance to try diving on either our Bubblemaker or Seal Team programmes

We also run a full range of accredited PADI courses from Scuba Diver up to Assistant Instructor courses which can be structured around your holiday plans.

Junior Programes

What could be more exhilerating and exciting for a child than learning to breathe underwater? We offer two PADI experiences for children of 8 years and up to introduce children to scuba diving with fun activities.

Bubblemakers                                                                                    8-10 years old, 1 hour experience 
Set in the Atlantis Zero Entry Pool, the Bubblemaker program is a great way for children to experience scuba diving through play in a shallow pool environment under close supervision. No registration required, meet at the pool from 2-4pm every day.

SealTeam                                                                                        8+ years old, 5-dive experience program 
The PADI Seal Team program is an exciting 5-dive program spread over days where children will participate in a series of activities specifically designed to build their confidence underwater. Divers are introduced to basic skills and challenges, with the reward of becoming a PADI Seal Team Member.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. 

While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

Padi Discover Scuba Diving                                                                     10+ years old, 2 hour(pool only) or 4 hour(pool & ocean dive) experience 
Experience scuba diving under close supervision. If you’re like most people, you will be hooked after your first breath underwater. Plus, you can get credit! If your Discover Scuba Diving program includes an actual scuba dive in open water, your experience may count toward PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification, putting you a step ahead of the game when you decide to go for it.

Padi Open Water Diver                                                                                 10+ years old, 4 day certification 
A four-day comprehensive course that allows divers to earn a qualification to dive independently to 18 metres.

Padi Advanced Open Water                                   Diver                                                                     12+ years old, 2 day additional certification 
A two day, five-dive course following on from the Open Water Diver course giving your experience in different types of scuba dives.

Padi Scuba Diver                                                                           10+ years old, 2-day certification 
A two-day course covering the basics of scuba diving to earn a qualification to dive to 12 metres under professional supervision.

Padi Rescue Diver                                                                           12+ years old, 2-day certification 
A course to develop knowledge and skills to increase the diver's capabilities for handling in-water dive incidents.

Specialty Diving Courses

Enriched Air Diver                                                                     Scuba Diving with Enriched Air Nitrox                                                       The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Enriched Air Nitrox scuba tanks have a higher percentage of Oxygen in them than regular air, so diving with Enriched Air Nitrox increases your no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

Wreck Diver                                                                                  Whether sunk on purpose as an artificial reef or the result of mishap, wrecks open fascinating windows to the past. Most divers find wrecked ships, airplanes and even automobiles nearly irresistible because they’re intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery, and usually teeming with aquatic life. The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding, responsible wreck diving.

Deep Diver                                                                                             After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts dives.

Night Diver                                                                                            As the sun sets, you don your dive gear, slip on your scuba mask and bite down on your dive regulator. A deep breath and you step off the boat – into the underwater night. Although you’ve seen this reef many times before, this time you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive ligh.

Underwater Navigator                                                                     Be the diver everyone wants to follow and make your sense of direction legendary with the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course.

Peak Performance Buoyancy                                                           What is neutral buoyancy? Scuba divers like to be neutrally buoyant so they neither sink nor float. It can be a tricky thing. Divers who’ve mastered the highest performance levels in buoyancy stand apart. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover, almost as if by thought. They interact gently with aquatic life and affect their surroundings minimally. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course refines the basic skills you learned as a PADI Open Water Diver and elevates them to the next level.

Search & Recovery                                                             Have you ever dropped something in the water? Are you looking for lost “treasure”? The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface. Small, large or just awkward, there is a way to bring them up.

Digital underwater   Photography                                          Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and the rise of digital underwater photography has made it easier and more fun than ever. This is why there are actually two PADI underwater photography courses. The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly with today modern digital equipment, whether you use a point-and-shoot snap camera or a sophisticated D-SLR like the pros. The PADI Underwater Photographer course is a more traditional photography course designed for conventional film equipment.
