Welcome to the Dubai Dolphinarium.
This area has been selected by Dubai Municipality due to its focus on balancing an education and family entertainment. Dubai Dolphinarium is an amazing place, where the confluence of nature and science makes for exiting journey in Edutainment Marine Adventure.

Dubai Dolphinarium is the first fully air conditioned indoor Dolphinarium in the Middle East with a temperature ranging from 21°c - 25°c.

It is our aim to provide a solid family entertainment and education about Dolphins, Seals, and other marine life.

Our mission is to provide the residents and visitors of Dubai with a high value family entertainment and educational classes that provide educational facts regarding the Dolphins, Seals and other sea life with a message calling for the conservation and protection of them and their environment. To encourage young generation to creates new solutions to help protects them and to bring awareness for their needs and threats.

Facilities

Dubai Dolphinarium is a Government of Dubai sponsored and supported project.  The Dubai Municipality was responsible for overseeing the overall concept to ensure that it served the best interests of the residents of Dubai as well as the large number of business and tourist visitors to the Emirates.

The facility is one of a kind that no one think that there are any other Dolphinariums quite like ours.  We have cinema quality seats and surround background music during the live actions of the Dolphins and Seals. With due to the very hot summers we have a completely acclimatized environment air/water for both the dolphins and the people.

Dubai Dolphinarium is a 5000 square meters modern marine mammal facility. Externally the building shape and style has a fun and colorful geometry. The internal walls are completely covered with an underwater theme of cartoon like characters depicting various sea creatures in a humorous style. The building interior is fully air-conditioned and has a wall of windows which face the stunning greenery of Creek Park.

The Dolphinarium has a large 180° Main Arena featuring 1200 cinema-quality seats including 92 VIPs equip with surround sound system and laser and spotlights to enhance your viewing pleasures. It's surrounding a 3.5 million liters semi-circle 5.5 meters deep sea water pool. 

Dolphin Sea Show

Dubai Dolphinarium provides you with the best family entertainment in Dubai. The Dolphins and Seals Live Show is one of the main attractions at our Dubai Dolphinarium. This event is full of extraordinary information about marine mammals, their life and we encourage the visitors to help us to ensure the future protection of our marine ambassadors – the seals and dolphins. Highly interactive and talented Bottlenose Dolphins – Senya, Sousha and Marfa- are performing amazing displays and sequences based on their natural behaviors. Born with a permanent smile, playful and gracious bottlenose dolphins are an unforgettable visual and emotional experience for people of different ages. The Dolphins are so very much accustomed to large crowds that they seem to perform better when there is a full house.  They are very fast and accurate swimmers.  Their navigation measurements are in millimeters while our measurements are in decameters.  Their world is so precise because their ability to survive is just a matter of seconds either for food or their own protection.  Join one of our many classes to learn more.

The Fur Seals have their own character and are one of the most agile swimmers ever to grace the ocean.  The move like spring coils without any effort through the water.  They can turn on a dime.  However, you will not see this in the program because the seals are so funny on land.  They are so capable in everything they do that you will be delighted.  If they were in the water there would almost be nothing to see as they stay under water for an inordinate amount of time.

The Fur Seals appearance brings an element of fun and their humorous gestures bring an easy smile to any visitor’s face. Our lovely female fur seal Lusha is the smallest and we have our 3 male seals- Max, Gosha and Philya. While watching our seals you learn about their great adaptability to being on both land and in water. The breathtaking Dolphins and Trainer Finale Water Play is one of the highlights of the Dolphin Show. And when our visitors have finished enjoying our presentation they can also have a personal photo session with our fantastic animals to create a wonderful memory that they can home with them afterwards.

Swim with Dolphin

Here at the Dubai Dolphinarium, we can offer our fortunate visitors the chance to swim with our beautiful bottlenose dolphins. Our four dolphins which include – two females and one male have been working closely with people for many years and are able to adjust well to one-on-one interaction with the visitors every day. Amazing, beautiful, incredible, stunning – these are just some of the words used by our previous visitors to describe their swim session. As our visitors join our swim session, our Marine Educator and training staff can share intimate knowledge of these animals while you are enjoying this swim experience. You will feel a bonding experience to be close to this magnificent creature your, very own personal photographs will be taken with dolphins by our own professional photographers, as a wonderful memory for your experience as well. Limited numbers are available for these sessions so book early. Each visitor can understand just how powerful they can be and so gentle all at the same time.

Swim with dolphins is an opportunity to be together with a dolphin in the habitat pool.  The habitat pool is special because it has a 2.5 meter wading ledge that is just 90cm deep, the rest of the pool is 4.5 meters deep.  The pool is 19 meters long and 11 meters wide.

The session starts with the guest(s) arriving at the Habitat Pool where they will take a shower and get dressed.  There is mixed and private session. In a private session only the swimmer who paid for a private session will be swimming, of course the private session is more expensive.  In the mixed session there will be up to 6 people with the four dolphins taking turns to be in contact with the dolphins.

The trainer will not be in the pool with the dolphin so it is not possible nor allowed for children under the age of 5 or special needs to swim.  Although we provide life vests it is strongly advisable that the participant know how to swim.  Some children are sometimes afraid as this is a natural response to something so new that is why it is advisable to have older children participate.  It is also essential that any swimmers are not ill, in their cycle and are fit enough for this activity. Upon entering the water the swimmer(s) will have twenty minutes of swimming time with a dolphin.   There are different interactions with the dolphin; hugging, touching the skin, being pulled around the pool by their dorsal fin. Many people like just being in proximity.

Location

Garhoud Bridge to Diera: 

Cross the Garhoud bridge coming from Diera Dubai side and take the first right at the end of the bridge.  Drive about 1 km where you will see Barclays bank on the left.  Gate #1 will be immediately on the right.

Sheihk Zayed Road: 

From World Trade Center to Diera take Wafi Exit also known as Hatta exit go over the bridge and take the second exit right before the first signal and after the exit going to WaFi then turn right going to the Health Care City.  Go all the way down until you reach Gate-1 of Creek Park.

Maktoum/Floating Bridge: From Diera:

Take the first right at the end of the bridge and keep left and go towards Dubai Courts.  Keep going straight until you arrive at a traffic light just after Rashid Hospital which will be Gate-1 of Creek Park.
