one of the most popular destinations for honeymooners, Mauritius is attracting more and
more couples to hold their marriage ceremony. The hotel looks after most of the details,
taking the hassle out of the formal wedding arrangements of those held at home. There is
also, of course, the sunshine - it is far less likely that the clouds will gather and shed
their contents at the very moment you are leaving the church. There are number of Roman
Catholic and Anglican churches on the island, but the service can be held in the exotic
tropical gardens of the hotel or even on the beach, if preferred. There are certain
formalities however, first you have to ensure that your application to be married in
Mauritius is registered ten days before the proposed date of the wedding. The hotel will
arrange the attendance of the registrar, photographer, witnesses, hairdresser, flowers,
wedding breakfast and the cake To put the wheels in motion all you have to do is contact
the hotel or your tour operator.
