| Travel Guide: OS HO COMMUNE INTERNATIONAL is a beautiful 32-acre campus
located in the exclusive and exotically green Koregaon Park area. It is open every day of
the year. There is no need to notify of your arrival in advance.
The commune is not residential. Nearby hotels range from luxury to basic, and there is
generally no need to book in advance except during the time of the Commune's main
festivals in December and January, when it can be difficult to find accommodation. Those
intending to visit for a longer time often stay in a hotel for the first days, and then
find accommodation in neighboring apartments or houses.

receiving new visitors, the Welcome Center is open from 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Entry to
the Commune is conditional upon visitors testing negative to HIV (AIDS) antibodies at the
Commune's testing facility on arrival. Upon entry, you can explore the campus at your
leisure.
Commune counselors are available to explain the different meditation and
growth-awareness programs to you.
The language of the Commune is English. H owever, as there are up to ninety-six nationalities
represented at any one time, you are very likely to find others who speak your own
language.
The Commune does not have facilities for children under twelve, or for people with
severe physical or mental problems.
Maroon robes are worn for participating in daytime activities on the campus, and white
robes for the evening meditation. The robes, which can be purchased in the Commune, create
a field of energy in which people can more easily enter into meditation.
The c ommune
has a post office where you can receive and send mail, faxes and e-mail, and where you can
make international phone calls.
Doctors, dentists, optician's etc. trained in Europe, are easily available in Pune, and
the Commune has its own fir-aid medical center.
