WE. Coco Banana was built in 1926 and is a family-run business. Today we, Walter and Marina are the owners and are happy to have you as our guests. We are a Goan-Swiss couple and so we speak English and German/Swiss German fluently.
COCOBANANA. Coco Banana is a quiet, clean, comfortable, small, private guest house in the south of Calangute Beach, situated in a quiet area, only 100 meters from the wonderful beach or beach square (near the statue). Besides the guesthouse Coco Banana we also have two other places. Two studio apartments close to the beach called 'Casa Leyla' and one of the most nicest houses to rent in whole Goa, called 'Soledad'.

Location :

Coco Banana is situated in Calangute and only 45 km away from the Airport (Dabolim). The closest train stations - Tivim or Old Goa (Karmali) are within 25 km. Panaji city - 17 km. Mapusa city - 9 km.

Environment :

As we think about the environment, a special water filter for drinking water has been installed in our facilities, to reduce the plastic waste of empty plastic bottles. We also have a generator in case of power failure.

Rooms:

Our lovely furnished rooms are all spacious and equipped with ceiling fans or air conditioning. Our beds have comfortable mattresses and always clean sheets. Furthermore the rooms interior includes mosquito nets, fridges, spotless bathrooms with constant hot water and european style WCs. Our rooms all have verandas and are grouped around a quiet garden.

Apartment :

CASA LEYLA is situated in a palm grove close to the beach and consists of two spacious studio apartments suitable for small families. From the top floor balcony you can see the sea. The apartments are all equipped with ceiling fans and big doublebeds, a small kitchen area as well as a comfortable living room. Both apartments have nice spotless bathrooms with european style WC and constant hot water.

SOLEDAD near Baga beach is probably one of the quietest and most comfortable private residences in North Goa. Surrounded by a saltwater lake on one side and lush green paddy fields on the other, it has all the facilities of a three star hotel without imposing on your privacy. A bedroom with airconditioning, a living room with 30-channel TV, stereo and designer furniture in teak and granite, an attached bathroom with hot/cold water, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, gas, special water filter for drinking water and two large balconies. The house has a telephone, alternative power supply, ample space for parking, a garden with exotic tropical flowers and plants, a beautiful designer sit out in the garden and a maid, who does the cleaning, and is surrounded by high compound walls for privacy. It is the perfect place for people who like privacy, peace and comforts without the noise,action or hassles of three or five star hotels.
