 As traditional hotels have become increasingly rare, we
take great pride in maintaining our homely atmosphere and excellent
value for money. This clean ,friendly and popular holiday home is
situated in natural unspoilt area of Cavelossim, South Goa in the
coastal belt of bustling Cavelossim-Colva stretch. The nearest sandy
beach, little settlement of Tamborim is a scenic walk along tall coconut
trees, paddy fields and lush green vegetation. Its rustic little farm
houses is surrounded by pig pens, goats, cows, chickens and other farm
animals. Women and children still draw water from wells using clay pots.
Opposite the holiday homes is a beach used occasionally by the Indian
Navy for maneuvers, quite interesting to watch when they are at it!!!. A
short distance from the hotel is a marshland which attracts large
variety of exotic birds, 75 species of which have been sighted by
excited bird watchers who call it their paradise more so when they were
awakened in the morning to the chirping of birds, an ornithologist
dream.
Our breakfasts
and tasty home cooked dinners served in our garden restaurant La Afra,
sustain even the most energetic. We take great care to select and create
varied and appealing meals in a range of cuisines- Goan, Indian,
Continental and Chinese. Our bar license allows us to supply a selection
of local beers, the usual spirits & liqueurs and an affordable choice of
appealing wines. In the convivial atmosphere of our attractive bar,
there is always someone with who to discuss the day's events or from
whom to seek advice about tomorrow. On event nights this place is
alive to live music and dancing.
Rooms :
The main hotel
consists of single block having 18 rooms, half of which overlooking the
swimming pool, and half overlooking paddy fields, a library, and a
rustic typically Goan Taverna Type restaurant. For those seeking a more
reclusive accommodation we have two annex bungalows having 9 bedrooms in
all. The proud owners Serafino and his wife Purie, with hours of
devotion to the hotel, who run this family hotel established in 1995,
extend a warm and friendly welcome to all their guests, to both the fit
and adventurous and to those quieter and more reflective in their
pursuits.
We organize
outdoor activities like bird watching around the hotel area, dolphin
viewing trips, Waterfall and Spice Plantation, Church and Temple Tours,
Cycle Tours and fishing trip, where your catch of the day could be your
appealing dinner. And if one still endeavors for night life, Mobor is
just 3 kms drive, Colva is 8 kms and Calangute/Anjuna 40 kms.
