The Panchavatti Guest house retreat is on the island of Corjuem. Situated on a hill, the 24 acre property overlooks the Mapusa river, and a rolling vista of paddy fields and  hills. The view is magnificent.

We have 4 rooms, each with an attached bathroom, a dressing room, and a sit-out area. The main verandah overlooks the view and serves as a common area for all the guests. Our meals are served as per each guests request, in private or at the table d’hôte. Lunches are usually served in the garden, or by the swimming pool which also overlooks the view. 

Panchavatti’s cuisine has become rather famous for its excellence. We strive for freshness at all costs ( most of the vegetables and fruit we use are grown in our own garden ).

The island of  Corjuem is situated 9 kms from the main northern town of Mapusa in the village of Aldona. We are approximately a 1 hour and 15 minutes  drive away from Dabolim airport.

The beaches of Calangute, Baga, Anjuna and Vagator are a 30 minute drive away. The northern beaches of Morjim, Mandrem and Arambol are 45 minutes away.

Apart from the pool, there are lovely walks through the countryside on the island, the old Portuguese fort is worth a visit. I do yoga every morning and anyone who wishes to join me is welcome to. An Ayurvedic doctor is available for consultations, on request, as well as two excellent, highly trained masseurs who specialize in traditional Kerala Massage.
