angan is Sanskrit and means royal courtyard
when we saw it first, it was in a dusty and neglected state.
nevertheless, we realized, that this traditional Hindu
house was exactly what we had been dreaming of for so long. after two
years of planning, organization and
construction work, we finally transformed a 150-year-old ruin into a
dramatic, yet cool oasis of calm. from the
beginning, we knew that we would like to share this fascinating location
with people who want more than just
a holiday home.
Raj angan is divided into two floors with a carpet area of 700 sq.mtr.
It can accommodate easily up to 8 adults
and two kids joining. on ground floor you will find three bedrooms and
our huge kitchen with sophisticated
equipment. on this floor there is also a living room with access to the
main garden porch. This room is equipped
with a state of the art sound system. On first floor is our spacious
suite, with own living room and two porches.
all this is surrounded by a 4000-sq.mtr garden with shady mango trees to
carry your hammock, with flowers and
lush green surroundings.
in the garden you will find our 75 sq.mt. pool, which can be overviewed
from the large chill out hall with attached
bathroom. The pool is divided into kids playing area and swimming area.
The house comes complete with three house staff that will look after all
the cleaning and your needs.
In the night a watchmen will look after the house.

Siolim is a small village in the northern part of Goa.
by car or bike, it is a 10 minute trip to the empty beaches of Morjim or
Mandrem.
for the restaurants and clubs of Anjuna, Vagator or Candolim, it will
take about 20 minutes.

the queen - a shady room is adorned in off-white and maroon-red. it has
an attached bathroom in the size of
a small spa. here we were able to maintain quite a big part of the
original tiled floor.
Raj, the king - our guests find this own small suite, consisting of a
bedroom and a living room designed in decent
white and blue. the suite has an L shape and its bathroom is in joint
use with ...
Clara - this room has its own access to the beautiful garden passing a
small private verandah. bathroom is
in joint use with raj.
Master
suite, on first floor you will find the master bedroom suite. the huge
bedroom has its own private
covered terrace from where you can see the whole garden area and watch
sunset. in the living room, with
five big windows, you will find the TV, DVD cum audio system the private
bathroom of this suite is connected
to the second covered terrace, which can be used as a private office. a
full moon terrace cum kitchen is the
"cherry on top of the cake" in this master bedroom suite.
