Royal Safari Camp is designed and developed with a single, simple aim:
to give you a taste of the rich, ethnic lifestyle. Constructed by the
skilful local artisans, each cottage at the Camp exhibits the
magnificent craftsmanship, while offering you all the amenities,
including air conditioners and luxurious bathrooms needed to make your
stay comfortable. The Camp also has a full-fledge dining space, offering
mouth-watering authentic recipes from the region to continental
cuisines. The Camp arranges Jeep Safaris in the Little Rann of Kutch,
and other cultural tours are also arranged, which offers an opportunity
to get closer to the regional artisans and their work. We also arrange
for camel cart safaris, camel and horseback safaris and On-the-foot
excursions.

Nal Sarovar - Nal Sarovar Bird
Sanctuary, comprising a massive lake and ambient marshes, and
inhabited by migratory birds in winter and spring is a place worth
visiting in Gujarat. It attracts over 210 species of birds in the
winter, and harbours a variety of flora and fauna. Its migratory
bird population includes Rosy Pelicans, Flamingos, White Storks,
Brahminy Ducks and Herons. It is the largest wetland bird sanctuary
in Gujarat, and one of the largest in India.

Thol - Another bird sanctuary in
vicinity is of Thol. Situated in Mehsana district and about 40 km
from Ahmedabad, this sanctuary has rich variety of wild fowls,
flamingos, grey pelicans, black ibis and a profusion of other
wetland birds.

Patan - An ancient city of Patan,
which was a capital of Gujarat in Medieval Times, has many tourist
attractions. The City contains many Hindu and Jain temples as well
as few mosques, dargahs and rojas. The city has many historical
places also. The attractions include Forts, Vavs (Step Wells) and
Talavs (Lakes)

Modhera - Sun temple of Modhera
is one of prime tourist locations of Gujarat. The temple, with
splendid carvings, fine architecture and traditional erotic
sculptures, was built in 1026 AD by King Bhimdev of the Solanki
dynasty and is dedicated to Lord Surya, the Sun God of Hinduism. It
is akin to the Konark Temple of Orissa.

Bhuj - Bhuj is another historical
city of Gujarat. The headquarter of India's second largest district
Kutch, Bhuj was established by Rao Hamirji in 1510 and was made the
state capital by Rao Khengarji I in 1549. Bhuj is worth visiting for
shopping rich handicraft material. From here, Bhuj, one can visit
the largest flamingo breeding colony in the world.

Dholavira - Dholavira is one of
the largest and most prominent archaeological sites in India,
belonging to the Indus Valley Civilization Dholavira was an ancient
metropolitan city. It is located on the Khadir Island in the Kutch
district.

Mata Na Madh - Situated on the
western side of Kutch, Mata na Madh is famous for its temple of
Goddess Ashapura (satisfaction). The temple, considered to be 1200
years old, has its own importance in the hearts of Hindus. During
Navratri, people from all over Gujarat come here and join in the
festivities during Navratri. More than half of the devotees make the
journey on foot.

Narayan Sarovar - Yet another
famous place of Hindu pilgrimage and a wild life sanctuary, famous
for Chinkara or the Indian gazelle, blue bull, spotted deer, wild
boar and rich variety of smaller wildlife.

Tarnetar - Tarnetar is famous for
its fair popularly known as the Trinetreshwar Mahadev Mela held near
the Trinetreshwar Mahadev temple. Villagers from all over the
region, dressed in their colourful traditional costumes and
exquisite jewellery throng Tarnetar during this fair. About 100,000
people belonging to various tribes like Rabari, Kathi, Charan,
Bharwads, Koli and other castes come to the fair. The fair attracts
a large number of tourists from India and abroad.
