Vilas Palace Hotel and Resorts Adpur Palitana is a renowned heritage
mansion turned into a hotel in Gujarat. The Vijay Vilas palace was built
in 1906 AD by Yuvraj Vijay Sinhji of Palitana, a member of the Gohil
Rajput clan when he was an active ruler as the Maharajah of Bhavnagar.
In fact it was built with the idea of being functional as the country
retreat. With this plan did the ruler place it in the hills with great
views of the Shetrunjaya hill and historic Palitana temples. It was
situated on a convenient location where it lies only at a distance of 4
