8 Auspicious Him view Hotel is one of the comfortable places to stay in Mcleod Ganj and your home away from home. It is located in a peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle of the town, where the breathtaking view of the snow capped Dhauladhar range, from each private balcony, awaits every guest. We are conveniently located within walking distance to the main temple of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and also the busy shopping area of Mcleod Ganj.

• Precious Umbrella Room : symbolizes the wholesome activity of preserving beings from illness, harmful forces, and obstacles in this life.  It also represents the enjoyment of a feast of benefits under the cool shade provided by an umbrella.

• Golden Fish Room : symbolizes the auspiciousness of all living beings in a state of fearlessness without danger of drowning in the ocean of sufferings and migrating from place to place freely and spontaneously, just as fish swim freely without fear through water.

• Vase of Treasure Room: symbolizes an endless rail of long life, wealth and prosperity and all the benefits of this world and liberation.

• White Conch Room: the conch which coils to the right symbolizes the deep, far-reaching and melodious sound of the dharma teachings and awakens disciples from the deep slumber of ignorance and urges them to accomplish their own and others’ welfare.

• Victory Banner Room: symbolizes the victory of the activities of one’s own others’ body, speech and mind over obstacles and negativities.  It also stands for the complete victory of the Buddhist Doctrine over all harmful and pernicious forces.
