Krish Rauni Resort is situated at a height
of 8,000 feet at Matiana in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal is a part of the
Great Himalyas of India. As the name suggests is set amidst an extensive
Apple Orchard overlooking a vast valley. It's surrounded by Apple trees,
lush green fields of cash crops like potatoes, cauliflower, peas,

Being situated on the ridge one can enjoy
the view of rising sun one side and the beauty of the setting sun on the

(2) Classic Deluxe
All the rooms are tastefully decorated
with attached bathrooms with all modern facilities, separate sun
room/individual balcony. Intercom facility is provided in all the rooms.

recreation room with Table-Tennis Table, Carrom Board and video games to

historical Maheshwari Temple, popularly known as Shari Devi Temple,
just a few kilometers down the hills from Krish Rauni Resort.

About 6 km. uphill from Krish Rauni
Resort is Naag Timi. It’s a vast expanse of natural grasslands
surrounded by thick pine forest. You can enjoy a 360 degree view of
awesome mountain ranges and valleys! One can trek or horse ride to
Naag Timi.

Gara Kufri is approximately 10 km. on a
link road. A natural pond at a high altitude, enjoy a drive or trek
through virgin hills and forest.

Dalog Ghati, about 6 km. of level walk
from Krish Rauni Resort is a beautiful picnic spot with natural grass
land in the middle of a pine forest. Take a picnic hamper and enjoy

Travel Guide

Krish Rauni Resort is on NH 22, very
well connected by road. Experience the joy driving on well maintained
highway at such a height.

HP Road Transport Busses are available
from Lakkar Bazar throughout the day. The nearest rail head is at
Shimla, from there one can hire taxi or take HPRT bus.

During summer months from
1st May to 30th June, light woolens are required. The glory
of the apple orchard is at its peak till August end. Come and see the
beauty of apple laden trees , also carry some freshly picked apples on
way back!

July to mid September is rainy season.
It is quite cold during this time. Kindly carry your raincoats,
umbrellas and extra woolens.

Mid September to November end is the
autumn season when the apple orchard sheds its leaves. The mornings
and evenings are quite chilly. One can enjoy the bright sunshine
during the day.

December onwards till March end is the
winter season and it may snow any time, kindly carry heavy woolens
during this period.
