Situated over 7000 feet above sea level, the

Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. This quaint town dates back to
the 18th century and was built in the British era by Lord Dalhousie.
Mashobra is linked to the city of Shimla by the historic and age old
Hindustan Tibetan highway rechristened NH 22.

By Road -
One
scenic way to reach there is by the narrow gauge train from Kalka. The
train winds it way up hills, slopes, forests and passes through over a
100 tunnels. You will simply love the breathtaking views of nature as
you travel. Sightseeing in Shimla is incomplete without visiting the
Mall. You will find majority of the landmarks here. With restaurants,
bars, clubs and tourist offices it is the main shopping hotspot.
Shimla is connected
by road from Chandigarh (135 kilometers), from Kalka (105
Kilometers) and from Delhi (395 Kilometers). The drive from Delhi to
Shimla takes approximately 8 hours. The drive from Chandigarh to
Shimla takes approximately 3 hours
Getting To Mashobra in Shimla: From
the capital city of Himachal, Shimla, you can avail of a taxi or a
hired car to cover the 45 minutes distance. Bus Service is available
at regular intervals. The journey from Shimla to Mashobra is
wonderfully inspiring with mountain views.

Fast trains run daily from Delhi to Chandigarh and
Kalka. From Kalka, train connections on a quaint narrow gauge
railway, built in 1903, are available. The travel time is
approximately 4 hours. There are number of trains to Chandigarh and
Kalka. Limousine pick up can be arranged from Shimla, Kalka or
Chandigarh railway stations.

By Air -
Daily direct flights to Shimla from Delhi are
available. Private air charters can also be organized. The flying
time is 90 minutes. The Shimla airport is 45 minutes from the hotel.
Limousine pick up can be arranged from Shimla or Chandigarh airport.
Mashobra is the ideal pit stop to
explore some of the surrounding tourist attractions in places like
Mahasu, Kufri, Fagu and Naldehra
