Notes - Nestled in the beautiful Raison valley, along the river Beas.
A little piece of heaven on Earth; it is your getaway from the furious
pace of the world. Cosy cottages, luxury Swiss tents and a specialty
restaurant - Basket of Breads, make up the camp.
Nature Notes is an initiative of the
Chawla family. We are a fun loving three-generation family of twelve,
encompassing engineers, housewives, wedding planners, fashion
designers, instructional designers, travel professionals and business
people.
Our favourite places in the www (whole wide world) are the lovely and
unexplored views of the Himalayas. Nature Notes is our invitation for
you to come and rejuvenate yourselves near the fresh and clean waters
of the River Beas.

Manali :
The Queen of hill stations, Manali with its proximity to snowline has
emerged as a popular destination for honeymooners. Houses the most
important temple in the region, the Hadimba Temple and the Buddhist
monasteries
Kullu :
The most charming and beautiful Kullu valley, famous for its exquisitely
woven colourful hand made shawls and kullu caps is a place for
enchanting view of the Himalayas and an expression of the Himalayan
culture.
Rohtang Pass :
The highest point- 4,112m, on the Manali-Keylong road and 51-km from
Manali town, the Rohtang Pass provides a breath-taking panoramic view of
mountains and offers skiing and trekking opportunities. The pass is open
from June to September, although trekkers can cross the pass from May.
Solang valley :
The venue for the annual skiing courses, Solang valley offers the view
of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. The 12-km hike up the
western banks of the Beas to the Solang Valley is noteworthy.
Kasol :
Beautiful and picture perfect Kasol is a small village at the bank of
Parvati river with well-kept streets, simple houses and smiling local
people. The village has a lovely setting among pine trees and river.
Manikaran :
A place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Sikhs, Manikaran has a temple and a
gurudwara. The water from the steaming springs is noted for its healing
properties. The springs in the area are hot enough to boil rice. It is
also a good spot for trout fishing.
Naggar :
About an hour's drive from Manali, is the very pleasant village of
Naggar . It's fairly popular with visitors who come to see the castle –
evidence of Naggar's former glory days as capital of the Kullu Kingdom ,
now a Himachal Pradesh Tourism Hotel. Another attraction is the Roerich
gallery, a little outside the village Naggar, which shows the art of the
late Nicholas Roerich, a Russian painter of International repute.
Kothi :
A beautiful and quiet spot, this place is famous for movie picturisation
and resting resort for poets, writers and lovers of peaceful
environments. The rest house here overlooks the narrow valley and
commands views at the mountains.
Vaishisht :
Vaishisht, boasts a pair of old stone temples, dedicated to the local
patron saint Vashista. The temple tanks are underground hot-water/sulfur
springs.
Arjun Gufa :
On the left bank of the Beas , 5-km from Manali 'Arjun Gufa' or the cave
of Arjuna , is a touch of history in the Himalayas . In these caves, the
great archer Arjuna practiced austerities to get Pashupata Ashtra
(weapon) from Lord Indra.
Old Manali :
Famous for its orchards and old guesthouses, Old Manali is worth a
visit. There is ruined fort here by the name of Manaligarh and the Manu
Maharishi Temple , dedicated to sage Manu.
Marhi :
A mountain plateau surrounded by lush green meadows strewn with myriad
wild flowers. 15 km. short of the 13,050 feet high Rohatang Pass on the
Manali-Leh road, lies one of the most picturesque places in Manali
region.
Mountaineering Institute :
Set up in 1961 A.D., this institute imparts training in basic and
advanced courses of mountaineering. Institute speedily gaining
prominence for conducting adventurous sports - rock climbing, high
altitude trekking and skiing.

waters? Take a ride in a hot air balloon? Want to go explore the
mountain paths? Or simply enjoy an afternoon siesta in the cool valley
of Himalayas?

If you want to relax, you can catch hold of our Yoga Master and learn
the eternal techniques of the art of meditation. If you just want to
laze around, pick up a book from our vast collection. Our animation team
will also ensure that you have fun with games of tambola, pictionary,
dumb charades and anything that you can suggest. You can also indulge in
a game of chess with your partner.
For something more adventurous, you can take advantage of our
mountaineering teams' guidance in trekking and rock climbing. Enjoy our
basketball, volleyball and badminton facilities. White water rafting,
fishing, jumping on the trampoline are the other facilities available on
the site.

Get into the adventure gear and Pump the Adrenalin with rafting on River
Beas. Its safe for beginners and still a lot of fun for the ones who
love riding the waves.
BURMA BRIDGE & FLYING FOX
Everyone enjoys it. The one doing it either shouts or have the most
peaceful moments of their life.
TREKKING, RAPPELLING
Go the offbeat way. Explore where the normal tourists do not go. Apple
orchards, amazing horizons, lush green estates, little villages...

Get relaxed, enjoy that quality time with your son/daughter while the
