Dalhousie, at 6500 ft. is part of the Dhaula Dhar Range in the Lower Himalayas - just 80 kms. from Pathankot. This idyllic summer resort spreads over five hills: Kathlag, Balun, Potreyn, Moti Tibba and Bakrota, each densely covered with forests of pine, oak and Cedar(Devdar). Of varying heights, ranging from 5500 ft. to 8000 ft. each hill is girdled by lovely level walks, which are a unique feature of Dalhousie's special charm.
