Siswan Jungle Lodge is a delighful nature lodge with only eight rooms to offer personal service, privacy and tranquility. Climb the observation road on the Dam for a superb view of the dense forest that surrounds the Dam or trek into the untracked trails of the forest to see the wild animals and colorful birds in their natural habitat. Stags, Gorals, wild boars, Barking Deer, Neelgai have been sighted. Trails lead to nearby villages and hill tops where you can good view of Jungle and nearby areas. Eco Tourism Siswan is committed to protecting and preserving the rainforest through sustainable practices and education, while supporting and involving the surrounding local communities. Siswan was fully constructed with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) label materials and follows environmentally friendly practices. We are involved in projects with local communities providing aid and support as well as giving employment and training. Location Siswan Jungle Lodge is only 32 Kms/60 Minutes from Chandigarh via Mullanpur-Siswan dam. It is nestled on the edge of Siswan Forest. The Jungle Trails, the main attractions of the lodge, run throughout the 7 Kms Siswan Forest before zeroing down to Siswan Dam, Alternately, it can also be approached via Pinjore which is 18 Kms from the Lodge, 2 Kms off the Pinjore-Nalagarh Highway.
Activities Siswan Jungle Lodge has been designed to offer the guests a wide range of activities and experiences. A short walk takes you to the numerous trails in the jungle or you can visit the local village to get acquainted to the rural life or you can choose to try your hand on game of American Pool or explore the Jungle on Jungle Bikes. The activities desk will guide you to choose a good book for a lazy afternoon from our Library meanwhile your kids can enjoy a movie in our TV Lounge. The Jungle Cafe, with its airy ambience and open views, offers exquisite Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. The Lawns and terraces provide the perfect place to meet other guests and share tales of the day’s adventures or simply relax with a with Fresh fruit juices and hot Cappuccino. Your Conferences and training sessions shall be handled effectively to make for the real value of your time and money. With conference aids like LCD projectors, audio systems, white board, flip charts along with professionals handling you motivation and training sessions, Siswan Jungle lodge is the most convenient place to organize MICE.
Accommodation The Siswan Jungle Lodge is situated in a privileged location between the periphery of Chandigarh and Shivalik Foothills. It is located in unspoiled ecosystem of Siswan Forest which is rich in flora and fauna. To the north of the forest are various river lets passing through the Kikkar and khair forest and lot of green foliage and to the south is the Siswan Dam spread in around 2 square kms. Within the reserve we have over 5000 hectares (12,355 acres) of virgin primary forest and about 800 hectares (2000 acres) of secondary forest. In order to give our guests the opportunity to live the Siswan fullly, we have 8 bedroom accommodation in our small but luxury Lodge Siswan Jungle Lodge, is situated on the edge of Siswan forest and overlooking Kasauli hills with many facilities our guests can enjoy.
