Jammu. J & K SRTC runs buses and Luxury Coaches from railway station
toi Katra. JKTDC has also similar arrange ments. Taxis in form of Maruti
Vans, TATA Sumos and Ambassdors are also available for tourists.
REACHING VAISHNODEVI:For reaching Vaishnodevi, you should reach Katra (48 Km/30 mile) from Jammu. Buses leave
for Katra from the General Bus Stand, Jammu, throughout the day. During peak season buses
are also available from Jammu-Tawi railway station (Journey time two hours)The nearest
airport is Jammu (61 Kms/38 mile) connected by Indian Airlines and Jet Airways flights
with Delhi which in turn connected to major cities in India. The nearest rail head is
Jammu well connected to all the major towns in India. Jammu is connected by road with
