This
beautiful ‘City of Pearls’ once the Nizam’s capital, and now the
capital of Andhra Pradesh, has long been a center for Muslim
learning and culture. The city’s architecture has a strong Persian
flavour. In the heart of the city stands the finely sculptured
Charminar (four minarets) synonymous with Hyderabad. The principal
mosque in the city is the Mecca Masjid, which can accommodate 10,000
worshipers at a time.
The Salarjung Museum, a rare instance of individual enterprise in
the sphere of art collection, has fine jewellery, precious stones,
paintings, wood and metal carvings, Chinese porcelain, art objects,
manuscripts, curios and some remarkable pieces of furniture. A
guided tour of the mammoth museum and the number of artifacts can
take hours. Interesting anecdotes make it a memorable visit.
Aditya Hometel is very conveniently located at Ameerpet in the
center of the new city, the business district of the twin cities. It
is approximately 3 km from the airport and 7 km from the railway
station. It is easily accessible to the HI-Tech City and Hitex. This
business hotel lends itself very well to the city by offering the
requisites suitable to a wide array of travelers. The central atrium
in the hotel soars over elegantly appointed rooms and suites.
