for adventure seekers in terms of White Water Rafting, High Altitude
Trekking (Zanskar Valley, Nubra Valley, Chadar Ice Trek and Indus
Valley Trek) and High Altitude Birding.

July and August is considered the best
months to visit Leh from the point of view of Festivals. Leh is famous
for hosting the world renowned Ladakh Festival. Winters (Oct-March)
are extremely cold here with temperatures touching minus 30 and
recommended only for extreme weather adventure enthusiasts (Such as
Ice Skating on frozen Zanskar River).
Access : Leh is accessible by
Road from Manali and Srinagar. Both Routes are best done with one of
two night stopovers. Best way to access Leh is by flight from Delhi.
