We are a traditional,
family-run Ladakhi establishment, operating in the hospitality
industry in this region for the past many years. Situated close to
the heart of Leh, The Padma Guest House & Hotel provides its
residents with a charming blend of the old with the new. We strive
to make available to our guests every possible comfort that they may
wish for, all within a setting that is typically Ladakhi.
In the course of
performing our duties as professional hosts for over two decades, we
have met innumerable friends from literally every corner of the

How to Reach
- By Air:
Indian Airlines operates flight from delhi to Ladakh.
It runs flights four times a week. It also has flight arrangements
from Chandigarh to Leh. Tourist mostly prefer to travel to Leh by
air. The flight path will take you directly above the Zanskar valley
giving a beautiful look of the most of the other ranges.
- By Road:
The Manali-Leh road has served as the primary land
approach to Ladakh. The traffic starts around mid-June and continues
till early October. Himachal Pradesh state road transport
corporation and J & K state road transport corporation all operate
deluxe and ordinary bus services between Manali and Leh. It takes
approximately 19 hours from Manali to Leh depending on weather
conditions.
Facilities
- Food :
We serve food from a wide variety of cuisines,
including Indian, Chinese, Tibetan, Ladakhi and Continental.
Generally we follow a fixed weekly menu and prepare a buffet table
for our guests in our open-air rooftop restaurant. However, special
requests may also be placed with us.
- Travel Desk :
The majority of our guests like travelling to
different parts of Ladakh so as to experience the many facets of its
awe-inspiring beauty. Through our in-house Travel Desk, we help our
guests make all their travel arrangements in an organised and
hassle-free environment. Winter and summer packages, safaris,
expeditions, adventure sports, filming facilities, home stays - we
can arrange all these and more, upon request.
- Communication :
Our guests can make national and international
phone calls at any time of the day, from the comfort of their own
rooms. We also provide them with 24-hours e-mailing facilities in a
room specially built for the purpose.
