By Air - The nearest airport to Hospet Vidyanagar Airport is a public airport located in Toranagallu. Toranagallu is a town in Bellary District and is about 30 km west of Bellary and 35 km east of Hospet.

By Rail - There is a railway station in Hospet itself. It receives regular trains from Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad and Hubli. Railway station is situated close to the city center.

By Road - Hospet is well connected to all the major cities of Karnataka. Transport buses from the capital city Bangalore are regular to Hospet. Bangalore is around 350 Km from here. Hampi is among the most important travel destination in Karnataka which is only 13 km from here. Hospet thus is the best place from where you can head to Hampi.
