Riveredge Paradise Resort - Karwar Outer ViewTo foray into the adventure and eco-tourism segment of the market, J R Paradise Adventure Resorts Private Ltd., has set up a company to build and run a chain of adventure resorts and campsites that fit into the rugged landscape of the outdoors.

The company intends to stand apart for two basic reasons. The first being that that it will provide a range of adventure tourism activities, depending on which region the resorts are being developed.

The second being that the adventure activities developed will be against the natural backdrop presented by the environment and careful planning will ensure that the impact of tourism is kept at a minimum.

This type of tourism has come to be known as “eco-adventure tourism”. The company has set up its first project "Riveredge Paradise" at Karwar, in North Kanara, in Karnataka State. This resort is located on the banks of the river Kali and will specailise in the promotion of water sports adventure activities like Canoeing, Kayaking, Rafting, Tubing and Windgliding.

Access :

By Air - The closest airport is Dabolim Airport, Goa. From here you need to take a cab to Karwar, which is about 90 miles south on National Highway (NH)17. From Karwar follow map shown below.

By Train - The closest train stop is Asnoti Station (7km to resort) or Karwar Station (18km to Resort). From station follow map shown below.

By Road - Either come 17 Km South of Goa border or Go 260 KM North from Mangalore on NH 17 to Karwar, once you reach Karwar.
