Water Woods... for that is what it is! Nestled on the banks of the Kabini River and sandwiched between two of southern India's famous National Parks - Nagarhole and Bandipur.
Water Woods is a wildlife resort easily accesible from Bangalore, only four hours away. Owned and run by a family who love wildlife, Water Woods consists of 5 extra-ordinary rooms: four standard rooms and one suite. 
Water Woods is deeply committed to conservation of wildlife and the forests. It is very important that our guests enjoy and respect the environment as we do.
In keeping with our efforts in conservation we have installed a 24 hour solar energy sytem, eliminating the need for a generator with its attendant issues of noise and pollution.
Being a hotelier for over 20 years with the Oberoi Group and having a clear understanding of hospitality, at Water Woods, we assure you hospitality that is remarkably different from anything one can expect to find in the wilderness.
Some of the co-hosts that welcome you at Water Woods are seven extremely friendly dogs, all of different breeds, Himalayan goats, geese and a resident bison. Non-proximity to these resident animals is ensured when required.

Located 76 kms southwest of Mysore next to the Kabini River Lodge, one ought to take the Mysore - Manandavadi Road.
By Air
We can arrange travel by helicopter from Bangalore to Water Woods.
