Casa Del Fauno was built by Maria Angela Fernhof, a native of Italy
who frequented India from 1990 to 1995. In 2003, she made Muhamma
her home after a sojourn in the hills of Periyar. The artistic
talent of Maria Angela is reflected in every nook and corner of the
house and Casa Del Fauno stands as a unique blend of the east and
the west. Built in an Indo-Italian style, the villa with its
spacious rooms and large verandas is minimally furnished and is
dotted with rare pieces of antiques
