Venice castle is the home stay of your
dreams It is ideally located in the very heart of the town. Yet, Venice
castle is cut off from the din and bustle of the town by wooded
surroundings that lends an ambience of the country side. The homestay is
set in large of lush green plants, landscaped premises and a well mowed
lawn with garden lights.
Peace and alms prevails over the place which is broken only with the
chiming of soft bells from the nearby temple, the chirruping of birds or
the playful whistling of the squirrels in the tree.

Promotion Council (D T P C) office , it is hardly one minute walk from
the Bus station and the boat jetty.

The home stay has 4 Deluxe A/c rooms and 1
non A/c room, fully furnished with attached bathrooms, WC, and
24hr hot and cold water supply.

spacious drawing room and a common dining area.

and round the clock internet connectivity. Laundry management, Medical
facilities (on call), pick up facilities (meet, assist, pick up and drop
at Airport or railway station) are also provided.

houseboats will also be arranged on demand.
Houseboats
The kettuvallom of kerala are the giant
country craft measuring up to 80 feet in length. Once a means of
transport, now a tourist fantasy. A kettuvallom usually has one to four
well furnished bath attached bed rooms, an open lounge, deck Kitchenette
and a crew comprising oarsmen, a cook and if you wish a guide. Usually
the check in time will be 11:00am and check out time 10:00 am next day.
As soon as the tourist check in the house
boat it will go for the sight seeing, by the time they can have all food
like break fast, lunch, dinner, enough tea, coffee and fruits, cruise
starts with lunch and finish with break fast. In the night the boat will
anchor somewhere in the backwater assuring hundred percentage safety.
Again early morning they can have a small cruise up to 9:00 am.
When you are on houseboat you can do fishing and
swim at certain places. Typical Kerala food and beverages are arranged
in houseboat, you can’t stop licking your fingers after a delicious
feast. You can also experience Kuttanadan food with coconut spirit
(sweet toddy) from toddy shop on your sail. Both day cruise and night
cruise through the lake is exciting one which never sweep from your
memories.
