Venice of the East - this sobriquet attributed
to Lord Curzon, the viceroy during the British India period is noted for its
unending stretch of paddy fields, and is considered as the rice bowl of Kerala.
Small streams, backwater expanses, canals, lush green coconut palms make
Alappuzha, formerly known as Aleppey, a unique piece of land in Kerala. It once
had trade relations with ancient Greece and Rome. Alappuzha town is marked by
crisscrossing roads, canals and bridges and has a beautiful coastline with an
old port.
The property is well located in the middle of Alappuzha town, by the side of the
national highway.
